He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman DeBoer and Anna Mae DeBoer. He is survived by: his wife Isla May DeBoer; his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Jon Jongekrijg; his siblings, Flora (Larry Boeve), John DeBoer (Joanne), Mark DeBoer (Julane) and Carol Busscher (Tim); his aunt Margaret Pyle; and his sisters-in-law, Flora Gale Schout (Art), Bea Visser and Many. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Spectrum Health Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center, 100 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, or the Ottawa County Sherriff's Department K9 Unit, 12220 Fillmore Street, West Olive, MI 49460 (Please put "Floyd DeBoer in the memo line). Per the family's wishes, cremation has taken place.
