He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walters and Marie Walters (Geerlings); his wife Mary; and his friend Jean Westveld. He is survived by: his children, Craig (Kim Walters), Eugene (Ruth Walters), Jim (Elaine Walters), Janice Brooks, Gary (Cheryl Walters), Bev (Roger Bekius), Shelly (Mike Miller) and Rick (Vicky Walters); his sister Joyce Vander Myde; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Walters, Betty Walters, Walt and Sharon Van Klompenberg. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Jamestown Baptist Church, or Hospice of Michigan.
