Eugene Grotenhuis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2023, at the age of 90, Eugene Grotenhuis of Zeeland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grotenhuis and Hattie Grotenhuis; his siblings, Angeline Raterink (George), Alyda Vander Hulst (Albert), Lavina Nienhuis (Arnold), Arthur Grotenhuis (Gertrude), John Grotenhuis, Wallace Grotenhuis (Lavinia), Harold Grotenhuis (Leona), Donald Grotenhuis (Donna) and Lee Grotenhuis; and his sister-in-law Juella Van Eyck (Tom).

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Phillip Grotenhuis (Karin), Kim Michael Grotenhuis (Dorothy) and Patti Quinn (Phil); his grandchildren, Paul Grotenhuis, Mark Grotenhuis (Stephanie), Anna Johnson (Kevin), Katie Facto (John), Nikki Cauley (Nick), Michael Grotenhuis (Sarah), Daniel Quinn (Ashley) and Emily Quinn (Craig Tanner); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Grotenhuis, Mary Grotenhuis, Walter Johnson, Naya Facto and Alice Facto; and his sister Verna Quist (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Central Ave CRC Benevolence fund or hospice.
