She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Pierce Maassen; her children, Ruth, Peter and Lois; her grandchildren, Dmitri Brown, Emily Powers Souza, Paxton Wiers, Avril Wiers and Lillian Maassen; her great grandchildren, Eleanor, June, Hazel and Bennett; and also, Tom Tamlyn, Kay Gouwens, Chris Wiers, Gillian Ferguson, Peter Souza, Juliette Brinks and Bryan Lacy.
