He was predeceased by: his former wife Grethel; his wife Alice Jellema; his children-in-law, Rhonda Genzink (DeBoer) and Brian Lohr; his stepgrandson Aric Potter; and his parents-in-law, Florena Genzink, Jeanette, Jay Kooiker, Aleda, Jerald Lubbers, Hilda, Jud Volkers, Ruth, Howard Tucker, Jim, Gladys Genzink, Marvin, Viola Genzink, Reverend Martin Stegink, Ed, Julia Berkompas, Andrew Buursma, Jerry Jellema, Jane Koetje, Harvey TenHarmsel and Mildred Jellema.
He is survived by: his children, Dave, Deb Genzink (Van Lonkhuyzen), Mark, Donna Genzink (Jipping), Kathy, Dan Walcott, Ken, Jane Genzink (Prins), Sue, Ron Geerlings, Laurie and Jay Prins; and his brother Paul Genzink. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 19 step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
