With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Elzinga of Zeeland, Michigan, who passed away on September 4, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Elzinga and Julia Elzinga; and his brothers, Bob and Melvin. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Lori, Tim Barkel, Dann, Deb Elzinga, Karen and John Wieringa; his grandchildren, Travis, Laurelin Barkel, Justin, Kelsey Barkel, Phillip Barkel, Denise, Kevin Rauwerda, Darin, Jamie Elzinga, Darcy, AJ Frank, Kelli, Steve Salisbury, Katie, Ross Bouwkamp, Jamin and Emily Wieringa; his sister Sheryl Medendorp; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra, Erwin Ter Haar, Jayne Elzinga, Mary Hamming, Shirley, John Moored, Nancy Meyers, Elaine Meyers, Paul and Barb Meyers. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
