She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Kleis and Cornelia Kleis (Vanden Heuvel); and her in-laws, Gerald Kleis, Ken, Margaret Kleis, Stan, Ruth Kleis, Roger Kleis, Richard De Korte, Dale Eding, Glenn, Ruth Van Haitsma and Rosie Van Haitsma.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Van Haitsma; her grandchildren, Linda, Tom Barense, Brian, Kerri Johnson, Nick, Kylie Weaver, Josh, Kaylin Isenga, Mary, Denny Achterhof, Katie Mulder, Bradley, Kalynn Achterhof, Mike Quick, Amy Van Haitsma, Madison, Tucker De Graaf and Sydney Van Haitsma; and her in-laws, Marge Kleis, Terry, Judy Van Haitsma and Carol De Korte-Eding. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Yntema Funeral Home (251 S State St, Zeeland, MI 49464). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (1015 E 32nd St, Holland, MI 49423).
