He was predeceased by: his father John Deters, Jr.; his father-in-law Rich Van Dam; and his brother-in-law Jeff Van Dam. He is survived by: his wife Jillane Deters; his children, Nicholas, Megan Deters of Holland, Elizabeth Deters of Grand Rapids and Emily Deters of Zeeland Shelby; his mother Irene Deters of Zeeland; his brother Deb Deters of Zeeland; his mother-in-law Marla Van Dam of Zeeland; his nephew Dustin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jace of Zeeland, Neighbors, Greg, Carrie Phillips, Casey, Kevin Schoenborn, Ally and Colton Schreur.
