With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. De Haan (Zeeland, Michigan), who passed away on February 26, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lucas and Anna Lucas (Heeringa); her husband Thomas De Haan; her daughter Jane De Haan; and her siblings, Arthur, Jacob and Harold.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Harkema, David Harkema of Woodbridge, VA, Gerard De Haan of West Olive, Susan Cook, John Cook of Zeeland, Kristi Conde and Enrique Conde of Zeeland; and her siblings, Esther Betten, Doris Pennell, Ada Rillema, Harvey Rillema, Robert Lucas, Florence Eylander, Evelyn Boven, Kerwin Boven, Gerald Lucas and James De Haan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
