He is survived by: his children, Bruce De Roo (Amy), Dawn Vander Kooi (Ted), Valerie Leegwater (Brent) and Mark De Roo (Michelle); his grandchildren, Amber Rillema (Jeremy), Alyssa Visser (Matt), Bryce De Roo, Kaitlyn Arendsen (Tim), Nick Vander Kooi, Seth Vander Kooi, Sarah Vander Kooi, Abby Vander Kooi, Grace Vander Kooi, Briana Leegwater, Lyndsey Leegwater, Sydney Leegwater, Crystal De Roo, Claire De Roo, Will De Roo, Rosie De Roo and Bella De Roo; his great grandchild Tessa Rillema; his siblings, Marcia Volkema (Paul), Robert De Roo (Bonnie) and Gloria Dekkinga (Dave); and his parents-in-law, Delwyn Vanden Bosch (Sheila), Norm Steigenga, Daryl Vanden Bosch (Doris) and Lyle Vanden Bosch (Teresa).
