He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Vannette and Anna Vannette; his wife Joan Vannette; his grandchildren, Marc Vannette, Greg (Denise Vannette), Sally (Rich Van Dyke) and Nancee (Mark Felty); his siblings, Pearl Vanderlaan and Dave Vannette (Karen); and his sister-in-law Helen DeWeerd.
Memorial contributions may be given in Art's honor to Jenison Christian School or Ridge Point Church.
