She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jr. Raak and Minne Raak; her sisters, Clara Overzet and Ethel Van Ommen; her brothers-in-law, Henry Overzet, Elwyn Van Ommen, Kenneth De Vries and Lewis Baker; and also, Willard and Reka De Vries.
She is survived by: her husband LaVerne "Vern" De Vries; her son Mike (Kathy De Vries); and her sister-in-law Marcia Baker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Bridge Youth Center, Upward Bound, or Hospice of Holland.
