He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Mears and Mary Mears (Francis). He is survived by: his wife Betty Ruth Hall; his sons, Walter Mears, Bob Isaac and Brian Howard; and his siblings, Tavis Mears and Carol Kimball. He is also survived by spouses; 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
