He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Chrissy Simbro Anhut; his daughter Frances Marie Anhut; his son-in-law James Hyatt; his parents, John Anhut and Elizabeth Anhut; and his siblings, John Anhut, Charles Anhut, Mary Elizabeth Patterson, Jacqueline Johnson, Justine McKnight and Louise Eichenlaub.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Claire Dwyer Anhut (Dwyer); his children, William F. Anhut III (Tonya), Jacqueline and Amy Anhut Hadley (Gene); his grandson Clark; his son Charles Robert Anhut (Cathy); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Erin), Erin (Kevin) and Kevin (Meredith); his daughter Jill Anhut Epstein (Todd); his granddaughter Anna; his child Thomas John Anhut (Theresa); his grandchildren, Colin, Devan (Michael), Haley and Jeffrey Clark Anhut (Maria); his great grandchildren, Michael and Natalie; his grandson Matthew Dwyer Anhut; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Greta Grace; his grandson Christopher Walsh Anhut (Holly); his great grandchildren, Hope and Elle; his son-in-law Kit Hollingshead; his grandchildren, Petra, Eris and Kelly Hyatt (Ron); and also William F. Anhut Jr. (Dale). He is also survived by children, grandchildren.
