With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waldo N. Thacker Jr. of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on October 3, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Thacker and Virginia Thacker Sr. (Ballard); and his sister Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Vickie L. Fletcher; his children, Terry Thacker, Cathy Thacker, Lindsey Pepper, Aaron Thacker (Elizabeth), Jeremy Thacker (Carlie) and Shannon Fritz (Chris); and his brother Terry Thacker (Carol). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
