She was predeceased by: her daughter Aldin Reeves; her grandson Isaiah Jones; her parents, Otis Johnson, Sr. and Nannie Poole-Johnson (Poole); and her siblings, Myrtle Cunningham, Rosa Griffin and Otis Johnson, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Moore of Raleigh, NC, Derwin Jones of Ypsilanti, MI and Edwin Jones (Tina) of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, Duane Jones, Keyante'Jones, Jacqueline Jones, LaTiana Jones, Shanice Brumfield, Dylan Roper, Jasmine Jones, Ray Reeves Jr., Shemaiah Reeves and Jayden Bond; her great grandchildren, KaMariea, Marcus, Amario, Brooklyn, Sanai, DeMarien, Demi and Isaiah; and her sister Dorothy Johnson of Roxboro, NC..
