She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Backus of Washington and Hamilton Wilcox Howe. She is survived by: her children, John Wilcox Howe Bartholomew of Morristown, NJ and Margaret Paige Bartholomew of Ft. Dodge, IA; and her siblings, Lucille Dixon Mansfield of Glen Mills, PA and Jonathan Trumbull Howe.
She was Secretary of the Ann Arbor Historical Foundation, and involved in marketing and distribution of several publications, and also on their Board of Directors.
