It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzy Jane Melfi of Ypsilanti, Michigan, born in Northville, Michigan, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Armstrong and Alice Armstrong (Newsome); and her siblings, Robert and Josephine. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Terri Ann, Thomas, Stephen (Michelle) and Michael (Cassandra); her grandchildren, Sierra, DeAngelo, Misha, Dominic, Hunter, Taylor and Russell; and her brothers, Howard (Chris) and Eugene (Shanon). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

“Suzy was a volunteer at the Hope Clinic on a weekly basis for the last 15 years! She had a heart for service and was so cheerful. I could always hear her laughter ringing down the hallways. Just before Easter, Suzy would always bring in pączki to share with everyone. :) They were the best I ever had and she would always pick up a box for me. Suzy has been missed at Hope Clinic over this last year and we are very sad to hear of her passing. Our sincerest condolences to her family and friends.”
