She is survived by: her children, Andre Smith, Karon Smith, Sharon Smith-Worthy and Carla Smith-Atkins (Juan); her brothers, James W. Battle (Elnora) and Willie E. Battle (Johnnie); and her grandchildren, Kelly Smith-Roque (Juan Carlos), Andre Smith (Simone), Alexandra Worthy, Howard Christopher Worthy IV, Milan Atkins and Joshua Worthy. She is also survived by Ten great-grandchildren, and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
