She was predeceased by: her parents, Mian Mohmmed and Mehmooda Umar; and her husband Farooq Chughtai. She is survived by: her children, Umaira Chughtai, Aafaq Chughtai and Aizaz Chughtai (Kristal); her grandchildren, Zayan, Zainab, Aariz and Remington; and her siblings, Talat and Dr. Umar.
