She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Pelphery and Lucille Pelphery (Foster); her husband Douglas Wade McKenzie; her son James Allen; and her siblings, Marvin, Lakie, Fannie and Joyce.
She is survived by: her children, Wade McKenzie of Belleville, Debbie McNaughton (Stacy) of Ypsilanti and Anita Tardy (Dan) of Saline; her grandchildren, Melissa, Brandi, Stacy Jr., Tiffany, John, Jonathon, Jordan and Heather; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Elijah, Auron, Landon, Isabella and Blake; and her siblings, Allen, Tommy, Lennie, Phyllis, Barbara and Brenda. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
