He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mason and Gladys Mason (Price); and his daughter Sandra D. Daniel of Florida. He is survived by: his daughters, Richelle Marie Brown of Ypsilanti, MI, Carrie Burgess (Kevin) of Texas, Georgia Orrison of Ypsilanti, MI and Deloras K. Wagner of Bradenton; his grandsons, Nicholas "Richard" Brown (Alex) and Tallon Robert Burgess "Papa' (Phil); his great grandchild Brooks "Richard" Brown; and his siblings, Charlotte Anton (Cornell) of Belleville, MI, Phillip Mason of Saline, MI and Thomas Mason of Canton. He is also survived by the mother of his 3 beautiful daughters, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
