In the sacred silence of farewell, Melinda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her father Billie Gee; and her mother-in-law Hazel Morgan. She is survived by: her mother Gertrude Gee; her husband John; her siblings, Jeff Gee (Jackie) and Deborah Hesson (Bill); and her sister-in-law Berdena Rogers (Bryan). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (1565 E Forest Ave, Ypsilanti, MI 48198).
The family asks that guests do not send flowers, but instead make donations to the Huron Valley Humane Society.
