It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mattie Reveire (Ypsilanti, Michigan), who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bishop and Roberta Bishop; her husband Edward; her great grandchild Derrek Jr. (DJ); and her siblings, Charles Bishop, Rosa Davis, Johnny Bishop, Jasper Bishop, Pearl Jones and Larry Bishop.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Ferrell (Phillip) and Sheryl Reveire (Sherri); her grandchildren, Phillip Ferrell II, Dion Ferrell and Alishia Anderson (Derrek); her great grandchildren, Joia, Dylan, Kylie Grace, Brenton, Micah, Eva Grace, Prince Phillip, Grayson, Haven Grace, Gavin and Olivia Grace; and her godson Aaron Walker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C & H Community Home For Funerals Lucille's Memorial Chapel (411 S Adams St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church (39125 Judd Rd, Belleville, MI 48164).
