She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Szmansky and Mary Szmansky (Ryszka); her husband Robert William Smith; her daughter Carol Grohoski; and her siblings, Eddie Szmansky and Virginia Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Scott (Toby), Robert Smith Jr. (Christine), John Smith, Paul Smith (Jeanie), Lori Frantz (Jeff) and Connie Strange (Joe); her grandchildren, Erica Shuff (Nat), Nicole Medendorp (Will), Staci Scott, Marcus Scott, Matthew Frantz, Taylor Frantz, Tim Ketchpaw (Mindy) of Melissa Ketchpaw, T. J, McDonnell and Justin McDonnell; and her brother Wally Szmansky. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
