She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick W Simpson and Helen Simpson; her former husband Samuel Griffin; and her daughter Patty Griffin. She is survived by: her daughters, Kate Cross (Mark) of Olympia, WA, Karen Griffin Fisher (Lee) and Stephanie Reed; her granddaughters, Stephanie Tarasuk (Sean), Natalie Miller (Zack) and Andrea Smith (Jason); and her sister Ruth King (Andy) of Manasas, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
