With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Akor of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2021 at the age of 56. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Akor to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ameh Idoko and Ene Idoko; and her brother Vincent Engobor. She is survived by: her husband Mounde Akor; her children, Enne Oluwole, Cynthia Akor, Samuel Akor, Grace Akor and Emmanuel Akor; her son-in-law Wole Oke; her grandchildren, Seyi Oluwole and Kemi Oluwole; and her siblings, Dominic Idoko and Abah Idoko. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

Due to COVID-19, there is a maximum of 25 people and face coverings are required.
