She was predeceased by: her mothers, Hazel Grant and Joann Mills; her cousin Donna Pollack; her husband Leonard Gentles; her sister Datheney; her daughters, Lafane Steele, Jacqueline Gentles, Coley and Nadine Gentles; her brother Ed; her grandchildren, Mykel Steele, Margot Howard (Tommy), Karen Steele, Gregory Gentles and Ashley Coley; her great grandchildren, Taylor Steele, Donovan Steele, Mehgan Steele, Robert Howard and Saint Gentles; her caregiver Shayla; and her close friend Evangelist Dolly Thurmond.
She is survived by: her aunt Lynn Jamaica Madeline Gentles.
