He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Lee Davis (Joseph) and Donald Morris Davis Sr. (Janice). He is survived by: his wife Jacina Davis; his children, Lamar Davis (Nicole) and Heather Avant (Jason); his grandson Jett James Avant; and his siblings, Donald Davis Jr. (Dolores), Ross Davis, Gary Davis (Renea), Clinton Davis (Kina), Edith Chance, Beverley Elliott (Robert), Thelma Harding (Kenneth) and Pamela Davis. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, fourteen great-nieces and nephews, and a host of cherished friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metropolitan Memorial Full Gospel Baptist Church (431 Hawkins St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
