He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Combs and Dove Smith; his wife Bonnie Combs (Couch); his son Michael Combs; and his siblings, Cathlean Lewis (McDaniel), Lovetta Melton (Combs), Mollie Asher (Combs), Jack Combs, Margie Williams (Combs) and Jimmy Combs.
He is survived by: his friends, Ruby and Richard Shafer; his brother Walker; his son Winfred Keith Combs (James Wilson); his grandchildren, Bryan Wilson and Katelyn Wilson; his sisters, Dorothy Campbell (Combs), Janice Howell (Combs) and Helen Lambert (Combs); and also Caudill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
