It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Norman Girbach of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Norman Gottlieb Girbach. He is survived by: his wife Katharine VanderEyk; his sons, Darryl Girbach (Robyn) and Bryan Girbach (Anne); his grandchildren, Megan Girbach, Bryce Girbach and Reece Girbach; his sister Arlene Shock (David); and his brothers-in-law, Rick VanderEyk (Jackie), Jim VanderEyk and John VanderEyk (Phyllis). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made out to St. Paul United Church of Christ.
