In the vast expanse of eternity, Lawrence shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lawrence farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pilar Lopez and Isabel Lopez (Ayola); and his sisters, Molly Lopez and Kathy Lopez. He is survived by: his wife Janet Lopez; his children, Felicia Lopez (Rob Gluch), Antonio Lopez and Olivia Lopez; and his brother Joseph Lopez.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Carpenter Road Chapel (2400 Carpenter Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48108). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
