We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2023, at the age of 76, Larry Wayne Bowen of Ypsilanti, Michigan, born in Central City, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Love and Lennie Jane Bowen (Dawson); his wife Carolyn Violet Bowen (Ferguson); and his siblings, Emma Frances, Leslie Neal Bowen and Jerry Lee Bowen.
He is survived by: his children, Melodee Moon (Jason) and Chase Bowen of Ypsilanti Township, MI; his grandchildren, Bryan Moon of Pennsylvania, Steven and Leyla Moon of Ypsilanti Township, MI; his great grandchild Alysha Baker; and his brothers, Edwin Glen Bowen (Nancy) of Illinois and Floyd Shelton Bowen of Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
