He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Mitchell and Lena Mitchell; his siblings, Christine Carol Johnson and Herman Mitchell; his mother-in-law Carrie Brownlee; his wife Elisha Michelle Mitchell; his children, Lawrence Mitchell, Lena Nakia Mitchell, Miesha Brownlee and Katlyn Mitchell; his brothers-in-law, Derrick Kinlaw, Roy Brownlee and Temkca Brownlee Byers; his grandchildren, Salena Baldwin, Layla Brownlee and Darius Kirby; and his great grandchildren, Le'Anna Travis-Baldwin and Ay'va Morgan. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
