It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Rose Burrell of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Burrell and Vera Burrell; her siblings, Leo, Leonard, Kenny, Larry Burrell, Richard and Linda; and the father of her children Larry Humbarger.
She is survived by: her children, Jeremy, Jamey (Christy), Jaci (John) and Pat (Tina); her grandchildren, Kalie (Bill), Anissa, Brett, Ivy, Summer, Austin, Braden, Braxton, Kayla and Lilah; her brothers, Perry and Larry Troy; and her six great-grandkids, Roman, Ryker, Rosalie, Cooper, Paxton and Rowen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Janowiak Chapel (320 N Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Nie Funeral Home Janowiak Chapel (320 N Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197).
