It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Marie Gerick of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Marie Gerick to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Snell and Ellen Snell (Rechnagel); and her husband Robert Gerick. She is survived by: her children, Karla Brodoski (David) of Canton, MI, Kent Gerick of Phoenix, AZ and Kristina Bever (Jamie) of Ypsilanti, MI; her grandchildren, Erica Hall (Noah Moyer) of Belleville, MI, Sarah and Nathan Brodoski of Canton, MI; and her brothers, James Snell of Brooklyn, MI, Robert Snell (Judy) of Hastings, MN and Mark Snell (Patricia) of Tecumseh, MI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the David C Brown Funeral Home (460 E Huron River Dr, Belleville, MI 48111). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Denton Cemetery (49780 Cross St, Belleville, MI 48111).
