It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Mason of Ypsilanti, Michigan, born in Belleville, Michigan, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Joseph and Dorothy Mason (Artley); and his brother Ronald Mason. He is survived by: his wife Daisie Ellen Mason (Williams); his sons, Lawrence Mason (Kimberly) of Ypsilanti, MI, Gary Mason (Nancy) of Ypsilanti, MI and Glenn Mason of Lakeland, Florida; his grandchildren, Mathew Mason, Justin Mason, Nicole Mason (Rowdy Wilson), Jessica Mason and Max Mason; his great grandchildren, Mason Wilson and Madelyn Wilson; his grandchildren, Harrison and Delaney Schroeck; his siblings, Patti Bies (Jerry) of Belleville, MI, Jim Mason (Barb) of Traverse City, MI and Jerry Mason (Naomi) of Higgins Lake, MI; and his sister-in-law Joanne Mason of Belleville, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
