John Butler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Butler of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on May 15, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Butler and Helen Butler; his son Jerry Butler; his granddaughter Kaylin Brown; and his sisters, Cathy Patterson, Anna Reece and Martha Biggs.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Newland; his children, Brenda Schneider (Ed Sr.), Brian Butler (Sherry), John E. Butler and Kevin Butler; his grandchildren, Sam, Eric, Travis, Nikole, Ed Jr., Justin, Bobby, Mike and Mickey; and his sisters, Mary Richie and Geraldine Hall. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
