She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hoye and Bertha Hoye (McDonald); her husband Timothy Smith; her sons, Clinton Epps and Christopher Epps; her grandson Robert Henry; and her siblings, Willie Hoye, Orlando Hoye, Robert Hoye and Dorothy Hoye.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Epps of Ypsilanti, MI and Floyd Epps (Michele) of Ypsilanti, MI; her sisters, Lillian Good of Ypsilanti, MI and Leonia Whirl of Miami, Florida; and her close friend Carl Robinson of Detroit, MI. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
