With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Javier Barrios of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on November 4, 2022 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Barrios and Myriam Barrios (Ramos). He is survived by: his sister Claudia Barrios of Miami Beach, FL; his nieces, Ela Semerci of Los Angeles, CA and Lara Semerci of Miami Beach, FL; and his grandfather Nino (Benny).

Donations in his memory can be made if desired to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.

“We are saddened to learn the passing of Javier. Javier was truly a great friend and a very gentle man. Always enjoyed seeing Javier and his 3 little dogs, when he was able to walk the dogs, on Grant St. Javier always had a big smile even when he may not have felt well. He will be missed. In his memory we made a donation to Humane Society of Huron Valley, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 Cliff and Lynne, Grant St Neighbors”
