He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" and Luella Schwabe (Stone); his son Michael Schwabe; his brother Wallace Schwabe; his stepdaughter-in-law Debora Frankford; his former wife Mary Lou Schwabe; and his wife Lorraine Barbara Schwabe.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Lou White; his daughters, Sheryl Schwabe (Brandon Parkes) of Superior, CO and Susan Schwabe-Nuttall (William Nuttall) of Ypsilanti, MI; his stepsons, David and Michael Frankford (Elyse) of Holly, MI; his grandchildren, Thomas Nuttall (Sarena), Daniel Nuttall, Edward Nuttall, Leo Nuttall, Abbey Parkes, Elijah Parkes and Connor Parkes; and his great grandchildren, Finley and Rowan Nuttall. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He had survived COVID but continued to have health problems.
