It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Etta Marie Bowen of Ypsilanti, Michigan, born in Dwale, Kentucky, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Crit Crisp and Katie Crisp (Branham); and her siblings, Nova Wright, Beulah Murdoch, Avanelle Rushing, Johnnie, George, Curtis and Jimmie Crisp.
She is survived by: her husband Bob; her daughters, Mary Hayes (Mark) of Livonia, Angela Galvin and Tammy Allen of Livonia; her grandchildren, Bobby Sims, Megan Fujita, Shane, Ryan Galvin and Alexandra Allen; her great grandchild Liam Galvin; and her sisters, Elizabeth Mann and Helen Myers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews; and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stark Funeral Home (101 S Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers it was Etta's wish that you do a good deed and make someone smile.
