He was predeceased by: his parents, William Combs and Rosetta Combs (Souder); and his siblings, Clayton Combs, Marva McVey and Darlene Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Lorenz (Rick), Joe Combs (Christen), Edward Combs Jr. (LoAnn), Gary Combs (Anna Gonzalez), Derrick Combs, Robyn Combs, Darrell, Dusty and Tim; his grandchildren, Josh, Amber, Madi, Nick, Nora, Chelsea, Joey, Allison, Eddie III, John, Clara, Anthony, Madison, Savanna, Kyle, Dariana, Jerome, Gabriella, Chloe and Tay; and his siblings, Ronald Combs, Wayne Combs, Billy Combs, Diane Lanning, Linda Clark, Tim Combs, Vada Combs, Tony Combs and Drexel Combs. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
