It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Hickman (Ypsilanti, Michigan), born in Leland, Michigan, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Rosie; her siblings, Mary Castion, Tuncheller Brooks, Willie Mae Hargrow, Sallie Mae Ware, Willie Brown Sr., Bernice Brown and Ulysses Brown II; and her granddaughter Tiara Lanae Lee.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Hickman; her daughter Tina Mims (Ozzie) of Las Vegas, NV.; her siblings-in-law, Janice Lewis of Oklahoma City, Gary Hickman of Dallas, TX. and Ernest of Ypsilanti, MI.; her grandchildren, Shannon, Ozzie II, Devonte, Nakisha, Franklin III, Keshawn, Kionante and London; her great grandchildren, Kahlil, Shannon Jr., LaNiya, Le'Aja, Ozzie III, Shane, Ozzyhon, Ozaria and Lauryn; and her close friends, Shirlean Myers, Geraldine Taylor and Brenda Dew. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
