He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee and Sarah Thelma Varney (Trout); his brother William "Peewee" Varney; and the mother of his child Linda Seaman. He is survived by: his girlfriend Julie Berry of Ypsilanti, MI; his daughters, Krystal Hackett (Jim) of Mt. Morris, MI, Heather Varney of Taylor, MI and Amanda Thomason (Matt) of Canton, MI; his stepchildren, Hayley, Kiefer and Savannah Berry; his grandchildren, Peter Hackett, Kayla, Mckenzie Pulley, Lilly and Violet Thomason; his sisters, Anita Lovelady (David) of Wayne, MI and Sandy Dotson (Mitch) of Wayne, MI; his nephew Jacob Lovelady (Alyssa) of Wayne, MI; and his niece Sarah Lovelady of Lincoln Park, MI. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
