He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Mente and Mary Mente (Group); and his siblings, Mary Lou Nelson, Zella Dellano, Rita Kyle and Paul D. Mente.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Forbes; his sister Carol Jean Froehlick; his sister-in-law Carol Mente; and his pet Zackary.
