He was predeceased by: his father Newton Davis; his sister Sandra Matthews; his granddaughter Mallory Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Weir and Karen Lovely.
He is survived by: his mother Virginia Davis (Harwood); his children, Elizabeth and Daniel Davis II (Laura); his grandson Zachary Davis; his brother-in-law E. Michael Matthews (Dawn Taucher); his nephew Robin Matthews (Patty Bradley); his pets, Rex and Frankie; and his close friends, Brenda and Dale Bucholz. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle and many cousins.
Donations can be made in Daniel's name to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
