With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Jerry Dotson of Ypsilanti, Michigan, born in Phelps, Kentucky, who passed away on March 28, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bruce and Opal Gay Dotson (Thornsburg); and his sister Lucille Gay Charles (Dotson). He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Dotson (Hegedus); his children, Robert Bruce Dotson II (Belinda), Karen Lynn (Dotson), Moreland (Ken), Kellie Lea (Carpenter) and Rotunno (Michael); his sister Shirley Jean Miller (Dotson); and his grandchildren, Leaha Skylar Dotson, Mya Dotson Moreland, Robert "Bobby" Bruce Dotson III and Antonio Michael Rotunno. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
