She is survived by: her parents, Bennie Phillips and Phyllis Phillips (Trout); her husband Robert "Bob" Martin; her sons, Robert Martin (Jenny) and Timothy Martin; her grandchildren, Owen Martin, Vanna Martin, Emma Martin, Sarah Martin and Alex Martin; and her siblings, Marlene Stumbo (Scott) and Johnnie Phillips (Tina). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bonita's name to the American Cancer Society or to Trinity Hospice.
