We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2023, at the age of 79, Alan Richard Bastian of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Bastian and Madelyn Bastian (Staebler); and his sister Janet Bhuyan. He is survived by: his wife Cristina Bastian; his children, Jeremy Bastian (Emily Jenkins) and AJ Bastian; his siblings, Duane Bastian (Barbara McCulley), Patricia Andree (Andy) and Neil Bastian (Louise); and his brother-in-law Bijoy Bhuyan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
